Kissito uses a clinical care model developed for geriatric patients. This comprehensive therapy treatment model allows patient progress to be seen and documented on a weekly basis. The model was derived from extensive research efforts organized by a collaborative team of doctors, therapists, and nurses. committed to the success of maximizing each patient’s functional potential, the team collected and analyzed information required to advance the impact of therapy services and treatment programs.

All therapists receive comprehensive training which enhances their clinical decision making skills. The model has been proven to improve clinical outcomes and will set the standard for how post acute care therapy is administered and managed.

Each patient is assessed upon admission and 3 levels of goals are set:

Level 1: Rehabilitation – Meet the basic patient needs, improve quality of life, and reduce burden of care
Level 2: ReAssimilation- Compensation for residual deficits
Level 3: ReIntegration- COMPLETE RESTORATION
